How good is JMM's resume?

It's good but certainly not great, slightly better than Shane Mosley but nowhere near other active fighters like Pacquiao, Mayweather and Hopkins.

JMM is arguably on top of his Mexican rivals (Morales and Barrera) in the resume rankings right now.

If you even understand half of that statement, you would know the answer to your question.

I watched JMM's televised career, and wow he looked exceptional early - there was one fight he was supposedly behind on the score cards that the ref waved off in the last round for excessive holding, but I thought JMM clearly won every round against that guy, a real runner.

I thought he deserved to win against Norwood. In fact, I thought he hadn't lost more than two or three rounds in his whole career up to the Pac fight, then Pac legitimately could have stopped an ATG technician in one round if the ref was Jay Nady or Richard Steel. that's how great Pac is - JMM is one of the greatest ever, and Pac almost got him out of there in one round.

The only clear losses he has according to my card (I think his first loss is a dq, for knocking the guy out with a punch, unless I am thinking of something else) are Pac I and II and Floyd. I didn't have him winning rounds against Diaz in the first and I thought he looked **** against Casa, but he found ways to win both definitively. An ATG fighter, not on the level of Floyd, but first rate competition. Only super elites like Pac and Floyd can legitimately beat him anywhere near his prime, that Norwood loss is such bull****. He even didn't get credited with what could be a knockdown, and there were other nonsense calls in that fight.
