How good is Joshua Clottey?

Just might add: he doesn't open up and unleashes hell (I'm sure he's capable of!!!:nod), which is a reason for all of his losses,:-( then bitches too much with all kind of excuses after those losses!!! :roll:

Great fighter that is too comfortable to leave his fights up to the judges.
He will be remembered in this decade as Quartey was in last, pretty much as the very good name on bigger boxer's resumes.

 

clottey will be a tough challenge for any 147lbers, but imo he's not going to on top in this division. can be a champ though

 

Pretty good fighter. Needs to let his hands go a little more. When on defense mode he throws next to nothing and loses rounds on inactivity.

 

He is a good tough fighter but is beatable and not as good as many people think.

 

Clottey is simply a born loser.

He will always find a way to lose against top fighters.

Even when he hass the edge he will fade in the second half of the fight.

 

He should have beat Cotto in their fight, but he just seemed to stop fighting for a few rounds. I can see Pac TKOing Clottey just because Clottey wont throw enough back at Pac.

 

Clottey is ranked 4th at WW behind Pac, PBF, and Mosley.

Basically, the top 4 WW's are all fighting each other.

In my eyes, its #1 vs #4, and #2 vs #3.
