How good is Kells Defense and Can He block / absorb Golovkins punches for 12 rounds? Could he somehow outbox Golovkin over 12 rounds and win a Hometown Decision?
If he holds and hits, he might be able to do something against GGG. And I suspect a hell of a lot of holding, on a level similar to John Ruiz type ****.
How about picking a match that he wasn't badly off his game and uncharacteristically looked terrible in. See what I say about you spin spin spinning everything, you always have an agenda and angle you're pushing.
He's had 2 fights at LMW. Twice again Jones who is like a super poor man's version of Golovkin, and Jones almost beat him in the 1st fight. Nothing Brook dished out bothered Jones in the 1st fight, Golovkin will walk through Brook with better footwork to cut the ring off, more power, more angles, more accuracy. Golovkin is a fking coward for bringing up a WW 2 weight classes.
Like I said, Brook was off his game and looked like **** in the first match, the second he handle Jones with relative ease. Sure GGG will walk through him but GGG walks through everyone with relative ease including Lara, Eubank or any other 154 or 160 fighter you can throw at him. That being said, this fight isn't great but its far less disgraceful than ****ing Canelo-Khan, at least Brook isn't a glass jawed, multiple time loser.
What a joke this site has become over the years. A handful of respectable posters in a sea of slime. This fight will create buzz and we will all have a bit of fun with it. In the age age of the internet, idiot boxing fans like most of the people on here, will turn off the casual fan who may potentially become hardcore. It sickens me, be a fan of the sport not a boxer, and maybe it will grow
If you don't like fight, then tell Eubank, Alvarez, Jacobs, Saunders, Quillin and the rest to fight Golovkin ASAP!!! Golovkin will knock Brook out!!!
Good thread indeed. I don't think that insulting people who have interest in the sport or a boxer for that matter is the best thing to do but I do understand your angle. Cheers
Brook has a good defence, although he does tend to back up in straight lines at times. However, for me, I think his slow feet will ultimately let him down.
He didn't bring a welterweight up two weight classes, he wanted to fight eubank, eubank stalled and really didn't want the fight, hearn was then talking to well brook, said its a shame your not a middleweight or i could get you the GGG fight, brook replied he wanted GGG ,hwarn was shocked said alright then and it kept the show on the road. Remember this was always going to be a big payday for GGG and provide a lot of exposure, i think that's why they agreed on the brook replacement , what is he supposed to do? Sit on the shelf for another few months while they try and find another opponent or just move on with the fight get some money some exposure in the UK , batter brook senseless and move on from there Im not exactly happy with the fight either but it is interesting and not gggs fault eubank is a punk and he was offered a high profile replacement willing to fight him
