He is very good but has no power at all.

I was describing to someone earlier than when he puches it is almost as if he uses his movement and angles to get the opponent to walk into his fist rather than actually throwing the punch. He has zero power but he is very accurrate!!!

I'm really intrigued by saturday's fight because this kid won't present Jason with issues Quigg gave him, it will be down to technique/skill and speed. This could be a really classy battle and if Jason's up for it he may really enjoy his last chance to shine.

One for the purists this fight.

Edit: Galahad been operating at 130, this is at SBW, Lads never been past 6. This is very risky matchmaking. Great stuff!

I agree, its going to be a great fight to watch. I just think it's gonna end up similar to the Quigg fight with Galahad being too accurate!!!

So my very vague boxrecing of 4 knockouts for this lad is flattering then?

They were all basically the ref seeing the opponents taking too many flush shots. He is so accurate they all really hit home, but trust me zero power. To be fair though as light as they are they are a quality pair of feather dusters!!!

Yes the 4 is flattering to his power but he will always get stoppages on cuts and accumilation of punches from being so accurate.

Should be interesting little technical fight then as Mand says one for the purists. Booth was just completely outgunned by Quigg too big too strong but somebody who hasn't got the power or presence will make for an interesting box off.

To be honest though quigg hasn't really got the power either.

I would best describe Galahad as Hamed with dusters instead of anvils!!!

He should do ok, they got Booth at right time, he was in retirement after Quigg but he,s game for another payday suspect he'll fight without desire. Good match though as the young fellows under a bit of pressure live on 5, if the ref isent to squeamish pts 12 or very late stoppage to the kid.

Only seen him once, think it was the Fury-Chisora undercard in a points win.

As said above absolutely zero power.

However, was very impressed with his accuracy and his composure especially, kept his head and concentrated on landing his shots. Put together some smart little combinations, defensively he'll give you a few frights. Hands low as per Ingle standards but again the composure to pull it off.

Well worth a watch though that's for certain.

Perfect way to describe him really.

Was just having a scout around on youtube for footage of him and came across this from the Fury-Firtha undercard.

First knockdown is a perfect example of what you said:

A very British stoppage but second and final knockdown is a nice body shot.

Danny Macintosh told me no-one has seen how good he is and hes has very much the potentail to become world champion!
I dunno what to make of thats as obviously both being from the ingle gym there bound to be mates but alot of people on here have said that he lacks single shot power.

Looks decent, pretty quick, picks shots well and likes to go to the body a lot more than we often see not only from Ingle fighters but modern fighters in general.

As others have said, no power at all. Sometimes with guys like Hamed you wish they could have had their power withdrawn from them for their first 15 fights, so that they focused just on accuracy, movement and combinations and then had it miraculously appear as they got to the higher levels.

If Galahad had even decent power I would be very interested, if he had serious power, I'd be excited. As it is, you need to be very special to go far with no power at all. He doesn't even have enough pop to look like he will slow a guy down and tire him. It means that he will have to be constantly active and sharp for 12 rounds to beat guys over the longer course.

This is a good fight to watch, he really only gets caught with one clean punch, and you can see good accuracy from him and decent footwork.

Ignore the chants for some lad called Barry who is getting the beers in.:D

Just been watching clips on here and youtube, i like some of his moves at times and way he puts punches together. It's abundantly clear why he doesn't have many knockouts when watching him throw his punches.

    -Pushes the punch through
    -Doesn't sit on shots
-Doesn't pivot/turn hip and shoulder through as well as punching through target.

I like fighters to be able to mix and mess the power around, tip tap bang! Kid seems to just be tipping and tapping. He hurts fighters at times due to timing but the worry for the lad and his team is when he faces someone willing to press the action and willing to take shots to give some.

Defensively he's inconsistent, he's a novice pro still really. He pivots and slides beautifully then next minute steps back in straight line with hands at side. He gets away with it at the moment due to level of oppo being journeyman quality. Guys who throw one punch to keep the ref sweet. If they miss 'oh well i threw one'. When someone is coming to win he's got to be a lot more consistent with his offense and defence.

A promising fighter, a win over Jason at this stage would be great. Booth's last say 4 fights he's only looked good in one and that was against Molitor. He will enjoy this more then last two fights because it's more technical then being bullied.

I'm unsure how calculated this risk is, i remember Mick putting in Fury against Big John in around his 8th fight thinking Big John would be a push over and looked what happened. I'm sure Galahad will be better conditioned then Tyson but a 12 round bout against a guy like Jason. Big call! if the kid wins then he deserves props.
