He was bronze medalist in Boxing at Pan-American Games in 2007......lost to a cuban (Robert Alfonso), not a huge achievement in Boxing terms.....but I was surprised at the time, because I didn´t expect that he would be bronze medalist. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPABMI-NwMo[/ame] His Head Coach by a long time is Luiz Dórea, former coach of Popó Freitas.... How do you rate his boxing skills for MMA Standards ? sorry, didn´t fight nothing more than that video with him fighting amateur boxing. I don´t like when Big Nog tries to trade punches, to me he isn´t a good striker......but I always had my doubts about how should we consider Minotouro (Little Nog) as a striker ?? Always enjoyed Lil Nog's stand up. One of the rare guys, and there's not too many today, who applied boxing fundamentals to MMA He was sometimes a little wild in his punches and his foot work is a bit poor, so I would only call him a very good boxer for MMA
