He knew what to do after JCC Jr hurt him and still clearly had his sense. Is his recovery on the Marquez level? Mayweather level?
Not sure. He was already breathing heavily in the corner before going in the last round which isn't surprising considering how much work he put in for 11 rounds against a bigger/stronger fighter. So by the time he was caught/hurt....fatigue, both Mentally and Physically, may play a part in recovery at that point. Floyd is much better at staying calm and knowing what to do when hurt...although he does get brave and starts to fight back even when he is still visibly hurt. I don't know if that is a natural reaction which brings out the dog in him, even enjoyment of the challenge, or done purposely because he wants to stop the attacker from gaining confidence to keep coming in for the kill. JMM has great recovery as well. Again, another smart fighter but overall just incredibly strong Mentally to deal with it and knows what to do.
