Way too inactive to be relevant. Its a pity the potential is (was) there. He fought so decent names in Bakole, Usyk, Povetkin though...
Decent fighter gives anyone of the top guys problems with his speed and athleticism. Although I would favor anyone of the top guys over him I'd still give him a great chance to stop anyone in the top except Usyk. He still gives them all hell and can upset anyone in the division. Potential future champion. A very very live dog in the division.
Yeah, he was very fortunate to get that draw. He didn't look like normal though, I think he took the prospect of fighting Forrest again lightly.
Will be remembered for giving Usyk a tough fight before getting savagely beat down, and having an entertaining fight with Povetkin that ended in a draw. He's in the coulda woulda shoulda pile, really. He could beat a lot of the guys at CW, and even plenty of HW's. Hunger and promotion is not there.
If he had accepted the fight with Hrgovic, it could have been a turning point in his career, but he is obviously not hungry for success...
That precovid Povetkin should have been a win for him imo. The talent was there. I'd like to see him fight Whyte.
There was a time when he was good, I predicted he'd beat Bakole and thought he beat Povetkin. But I don't think even at his best he was good enough to beat the top guys and recently he's looked very poor.
Since others are bringing it up here I had it 116-112 for Povetkin and there was a KD that wasn't counted for Pov as well.
