Yes I said until Usyk stepped it up a level. He was competitive even in some of the rounds he lost. Usyk won wide enough and yes many refs would've stopped in the final round, but that was Usyk's second or third toughest fight at CW and he performed better against him than Gassiev, Glowacki, Huck and Mchunu.
Briedis is still the closest Usyk fight right? every other fight from Hunter to Joshua 2 is still a clear Usyk win.....but Briedis could of went the other way right?
One judge scored it a draw but it was genuinely close. Usyk did enough to nick it though. None of his other wins were close
actually now that i think about it....you are right none of his fights are controversial besides Briedis which at the very best you can rule either a 7-5 Usyk win or draw in fact i still think, despite both being clear wins for Usyk...Joshua might of had a closer fight in the first fight than the 2nd
Many feel AJ did a lot better in the rematch but he still lost by roughly the same margin on my card. He made it more difficult for Usyk but I don't think Usyk was as sharp as he was in the first fight and AJ won 2-3 rounds or 4 absolute max
You're a funny guy sometimes. Hughie will be ****ing obliterated by Mike, stylistically it's hard to think of someone aside from Povetkin, who is a worse possible match up for The Cystic Backzits One than Hunter. Hughie feasts on predictable plodding hacks, but falls apart every time he shares the ring with someone with even a vaguely unpredictable rhythm.
The only guy that's handled Kiladze with the same amount of ease as Hunter at HW is Joe Joyce. Clearly his win over Bakole is aging like a fine wine, Martin has gone on to legit stop Wach, legit stop Kevin Johnson, dominate Tony Yoka and beat Kuzmin in a close fight. Hunter beat Kuzmin far more impressively than Bakole. He was robbed of a legit win over Povetkin, and he did it by going to war with him, something Whyte, Hughie, Pricey around the same time were incapable of doing. So no... an impressive showing against Usyk isn't about it. Yeah, he looked rough against Forrest, who was coming off of getting robbed against and nearly stopping Big Bang Zhang, and getting robbed of taking to 0 of Jermaine Franklin. Hunter clearly took him lightly and thought it would be a walk in the park like their 2014 meeting, not realizing Forrest had vastly improved since then. And let's be honest, Hunter like many fighters might just have a southpaw problem. Something Usyk... and Forrest both happen to be. So I don't think much should be made of that one rough performance.
why do people say his performance with Usyk was impressive? i don't get it, he won like 3 rounds and should of been stopped in the 12th
It seems like Hunter is getting worse every year. I think he would loose a rematch against Bakole now.
I've noticed many of the boxers who feature in my official P4P top 10 most handsome boxers rankings receive a lot of hate Pretty Boy Kelly Loma Tommy Fury Michael Hunter Jr. Ryan Garcia 50% of them in fact and it might be higher because I haven't updated my rankings in a long time HBE ie. Handsome Boxer Envy is a thing
Loma? If I'm better looking than a person on the list... Seriously, though. Do I have a guy for you: https://boxrec.com/en/box-pro/829717 Look up photos of the guy. Model-tier
But what has he really done? Who has he beaten in the top 10 at hw? He had some momentum after the usyk fight but hasn't capitalized from it.
Huh? Loma's dishy and he's considerably past his prime If he wasn't a leprechaun he'd be a huge sex symbol He'd no mas the hell out of your girlfriend in the bedroom This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected That's not a flattering photo of Utsuki guy but he looks better in other ones Still not top 10 material though
