How good is Michael Jennings?

    I think these days its more a case of 'how good was Michael Jennings?' as he is getting on a bit now. If my memory serves me correctly he was the number 1 contender to Margarito's belt for some time and never really chased it up although I reckon he'd be found wanting at that level (could have been a decent payday for the lad though.

    I am pretty sure he is 30. That isn't that old.

    Its not too old but if you havnt established yourself as a world level boxer by that age its likely you never will (unless you're a HW as more often than not they seem to develop later)

    because its the wbo and jennings is a sports network fighter? :bart


    but anyway...jennings is a fighter definitely worth watching and i'd love to see him in with anderson or to avenge his one (undeserved) defeat

    Yes he boxed well last night.

    What was funny however was how Alan Minter went on about the WBU World Championship belt as if it really meant anything.

    Domestic Level he is great.

    World level he will be violated.
