I havent seen him fight before althouh I have heard he's impressive. what's his fighting style like? strengths? weaknesses?
The current heavy weight division is his, no contest, if he can get and stay more motivated, that's how good he is.
If he can get into the kind of shape he was in in 2001 I can't see any one who can stand in his way. I doubt he can get into shape though.
Fat ****. He weighed 201 as an amatuer, and now, at only six foot tall, weighs nearly 250 pounds, and has weighed over that. Disgraceful. Anyone who is singing this guy's praises is living in the past.
Didn't Sam Peter knock out Julius Long in 1 round and Solis go 8 with him? Either way peter had alot more fights, wait and see how Solis develops.
I saw him against Jeremy Bates and he was really fast and accurate and was hurting him with every punch, I know Holyfield and Golota destroyed BAtes but he was taking their punches well and was fighting back, with Solis he was totally outclassed.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12-lRPoFCfk vs. David Haye. He was SUPER heavyweight world champion at over 230lbs too. He is a little overweight but not as much as Sam Peter.
If thats fight was in the pro's haye would have had him out of there in the first round, he was ****ed and would have taken a couple of huge punches but as it was the ams the ref jumps in.
