Marquez was born to be Pacquiao's dance partner.

Can't do it as well as Juan. Juan showed the world who's daddy at that game last November.

Juan's expertise with laterals allows him to effortlessly lace in slower punches like 3s and uppercuts into his strings of combos, even though he has slower hands and feet than emmanuel. emmanuel's combos mainly consist of 1s and 2s.

He can look exceptional whilst using it against stationary opponents, but he can look really good employing it against mobile opponents also.

But when he comes across a superior lateral mover, Marquez...his offense lateral movement becomes none existent. Marquez used lateral movement specifically to negate Pacquiao's offense and angles. I can still remember the commentator during the third bout praising Pacquiao's footwork and angles during a period were Pacquiao landed nothing, and didn't even get in to range because of Marquez's lateral movement. Pacquiao created very quick angles using his feet that would have put him in great positions to land on a stationary opponent, but Marquez was not there...yet the commentator still praised the footwork.

He has problems cutting off the ring. But other than that his footwork is something else.

    1:35 perfect example.

Good, very good, to great...depends on who he's fighting. And don't compare JMM to Pac in creating angles. It's alot easier to create angles from a countering position so naturally JMM is in a stylistic advantage when he's facing Pac. But go watch him against Chris John (or Floyd for that matter)...not much angle creation there when he has to press the action where the jist is to avoid predictably coming in linearly. When being the aggressor timing AND athleticism (lateral explosion) are huge factors and Marquez just doesn't have that same physical explosion off of his legs.

Pacquaio's angles come from his footwork. Lateral movement he minors to someone like Juan Manuel Marquez.

currently MARQUEZ>Pacula also it depends on who they facing...

Cause we all know PAC sucks to negate Marquez's counter punching, and we all know marquez is not the best when forced to be the agressor like Mayweather...

So against who are we talking about? VS a JMM/mayweather type he may not be able to find any angles and will LOOK like brain less come forward fighter that can't do nothing I.E. MARQUEZ fight ... with the Margo's and Hattons of this world **** HE WOULD look LIKE BRUCE LEE and ****...

    it all depends on competition..

I like Pacquiao. But he will bet beat by Mayweather with ease. It will go the full 12 but Pacquiao will not be able to hit Mayweather. Pacquiao does the same thing over and over.

Juan with all his skills at using laterals still couldn't mess with that shell. Don't see how emmanuel can. He can't fight on the inside either and can be smothered.
