Wilder, Zhang, Chisora, H.Fury, Andy Ruiz Jr and Takam I would say are his best wins. Joseph Parker clearly has a better resume than say the H2H monster Vitali Klitschko. What do you guys think?

He's a hard worker and a solid guy. Will fight anyone. I'm a big fan.

He deserves a shot at Usyk more than anyone.

It's not good for a supposed champion.
It just looks better than it is due to known names being on it.

Ruiz isn't good. He was obviously exposed after AJ. There were actually people here saying he'd beat Fury, that's how far back the deranged Fury hate goes. Meanwhile 40+ Arreola had Ruiz in trouble.
Hughie Fury was extremely young then and never became a top HW.
Chisora was already double-figure losses or something, way past his prime. And Chisora dropped him and made a close fight.
Zhang was over forty and still did more damage.
Wilder was almost forty and clearly over the hill.

It really looks better on the surface than it is.

Vitali's isn't good either, he's basically a fraud with a lot of mythology surrounding him, and he barely fought. Wlad was always better, which is probably why Vitali wanted Wlad to retire after a few KO's, sibling rivalry.

He clearly isn't scared of fighting anyone, anywhere, he has one of the deeper resumes in the current era because of this, but of course with that he's had some key losses to Joshua, Whyte and Joyce.

Overall for this era I think he has a good resume, not the best but definitely not the worst, if the era was to end now he'd rank as one of the top 5 heavyweights of this era, which isn't bad at all. Good fighter but not great.

He got done by the ref in the Whyte fight, a correction of the clear incorrect call on the headbutt KD in round 2 would have made it a draw.

Otherwise I basically agree. Even from looking at him you can see he doesn't have the same skills as Usyk, nor the size of Fury or the power of Joshua. But he does what he does pretty well and that's enough to be top 5 as you say.

Most people think Andy Ruiz beate him. H Fury is a a bum, Takam is a lower tiered fighter, Wilder was pushing 40 and never beat anybody besides 50 year old Luis Ortiz Zhang is in his 40's and his best win is over the slow hype job Joe Joyce.

So Parker has a weak resume compared to any legit heavyweight from the past but in this watered down era I guess casuals will say he has a good resume.

He probably does have a better resume than Vitali but Vitali dominated over his opposition without losing a round, and in both of his losses were due to injuries in which he was ahead on the scorecards. So that's why Vitali gets rated fairly highly in a H2H sense rather than based on resume which isn't the strongest.

And also whilst Parker does have some very solid wins I also couldn't see Vitali losing to the likes of Whyte, Joyce, who I think Vitali would pick apart. Plus Parker had a controversial decision vs Chisora in their 1st meeting, Vitali literally beat a younger fresher Chisora with one arm.

But yeah overall Parker does have some very wins and isn't afraid to take on any style, I think based on his recent form he deserves one more big fight vs Joshua or the Usyk vs Fury winner.

He proved me wrong, I thought he was done. And he does deserve a shot at Usyk.

Good but not at the level of Usyk's.
