How good is RJJ at the moment? Is there a chance calzaghe makes him look silly?

spoken like a true Kessler fan......I will say this if Hopkins could drop and hurt Joe with counter right hands Jones can put him to sleep. Jones is a much bigger puncher then Hopkins.

Hopkins is a far better fighter than Jones is at this present time, it was a great shot but Hurt ? Joe looked pissed off that he got put down in the first round and he knew he was in the ring with someone he couldnt get reckless with.

This fight I feel will go no more than 5 round of course Jones will be competitive but as soon as he starts to gas a little and lie back on the ropes calzaghe will slap him silly!

scratch your head all you like ...yes FAR BETTER!!

Yeah he hugs and wrestles but hes just given calzaghe (top 3) pound 4 pound a close fight. lets not forget what he did to tarver !

the fact is hopkins has been operating at championship level these past few years while jones has just been fighting poor contenders

So if a lesser puncher KDs one fighter, a bigger puncher will definately KD this fighter? Where did you take boxing analysis training at? Walmart?

Yes, Calzaghe has been down before, and could probably again, but KDs don't win fights alone. Getting KD'd has never made Calzaghe lose momentum - quite contrary.

PS Does it take a Kessler fan to acknowledge that Calzaghe is skilled? I thought he was no. 2 p4p? Or maybe you were just giving me a compliment.

yeah same old **** to be honest thats why i was annoyed when i heard the fight was being made. People will find a way to slag of whoever they dont like at the end of the day

people on this site are way to biased with fighters and are so impulsive with their views its pathetic.

for example when Pacquiao demolished diaz the other week, Amazing performance (although i thought it just highlighted how good/underated Marquez is to be honest) instead of

Jones is and always has been a counter puncher. He relied on his reflexes to get out of the way of punches not so much to get off his shots. Hopkins isnt really a counter puncher, Hopkins is a fighter that can do alot of different things.

Point being Joe will be hit with big counter right hands when he fights Jones...The question is how well will he take them and how often an old Jones can get them off.

I dislike this fight, and agree with all the arguments that many people put forth for why this fight should not go ahead. STRONGLY agree.

And be sure about it, if what happens goes ahead and does happen (i.e. Calzaghe wins), then I'm going to be sure to give him hell for it.

    BUT,

I'm also a believer in every TRUE great fighter has one last GREAT fight left in him... And damn anyone that's gonna stop me from believing that Roy's time for his is THIS fight.
