I haven't heard of him or any of his opponents besides Daniel Santos whom he won a 115-112 decision over. Does he have any chance against Sergio?
Hes good. Typical European stlye with his guard up and uses his height well. Excellent jab. I see this as 1 50-50 fight. it all depends on how Martinez deals with his jab and how Sergei deals with Martinez movenent.
Sergei probably has the best southpaw jab in boxing today. I think he has a great chance to outpoint Martinez. He is really skilled and I can see the fight going either way.
He's nothing flashy, but he's very effective. Casual fans think this should be an easy one for Sergio, but hardcore fans know this is highly competitive and high risk for Martinez. Many here thought The Razor was a threat to Williams before Martinez came into the picture. It will be a great fight and if Sergio hasn't lost a step he should win it.
Gotta give respect to Martinez. He's going out fighting High risks fights and the other two p4p guys has legal troubles or a ****ing guy on a 0-1-1 streak who's 39
He's a surgeon in the ring...if Sergio doesn't press him early, it will be a very tough fight for Maravilla.
He's proven good enough that we know he's a classy fundamentals operator, but hasn't yet had a time to shine, meaning we don't know how good he *really* is. We'll know soon though. This is a really good, interesting match-up, hardcore guys should be very intrigued by, imo.
Im sure herbzg would agree with me in saying that Dzindurik is a prime Euro level athlete and he will expose the so called champ Martinez as nothing more than another regional level hype job. Regional level martinez < Euro Level Dzindurik :thumbsup
as a HUGE Maravilla fan i fear Sergei's jab a bit, Sergio was hit a lot by a slower Pavlik jab and from the footage i've seen Driz has a ****ing piston jab. but still I have faith in Maravilla out boxing him and maybe even forcing a ref stoppage late.
