    IB, Gamboa has been drop but never hurt and he has being more defensive conscious lately, all Cubans are good defensive fighters that's the first thing they learn, Gamboa was a little reckless but not anymore...

    That's where Uchiyama enjoys an advantage here. Not saying it's enough to level the playing field for him, as Gamboa has so many other advantages....but Uchiyama definitely packs more punch (which is saying something, as Gamboa can crack).

    If they met and Uchiyama knocked him out it wouldn't be the first time a solid-but-unexceptional technician with iron fists giving up tons of speed, athleticism, training, pedigree & experience managed to overcome those obstacles.
