How good is tank Davis?

Good speed and good power. Hard to say until Duckvonta Gayvis fights someone with a pulse.

 

He's a good fighter but he's not on Lomachenko's level.

 

Another Lacy type hype job that will be exposed soon.

 

gervonta is really good, really young. if he stays focused and keeps working hard alot of guys wont be able to mess with him . hes gonna have alot of experience and knowledge in the game.

 

I tend to agree with this. If he has a good work ethic and is motivated by legacy, with his athleticism and natural tools I think his peak is much higher than Broner and a bit above Zab Judah.

 

Consistency issues will lead to him having a wide variance in his performances...I expect him to lose a fight or two he "shouldn't", but he has the potential to pull off some big wins if/when his head's on right. Unfortunately, it seems like he may be likely to self-destruct. I don't think it's smart of him (at all) to get on Floyd's bad side after everything Floyd's done for him.

 

Not good enought to fight Lomachenko...............he doesn't want that fight at all................

 

He has physical attributes but I worry his low general IQ will translate into low boxing IQ.

Or maybe he’ll be like the rain man of boxing????
