Still haven't bought it...and i'd like your opinion...I've heard that some ****s simply disconnect as soon as they're about to get subbed (when you're playing online)...is it true ? and how often does this happen ? Is it worth buying ?
Online is a pain. Soon as you fight level 50's you may as well just give up on the submission game. Even when you get full mount some leave. Certain fighters do certain moves yes i hear Matt Hughes does his running slam but im never him. Its just the basic's really. If your a BJJ fighter you can pull the rubber guard and do subs from more positions. Wrestlers do more slams and move easier on the top. Then the Boxer can't do head kicks but the Muay thai and kickboxers can. Its a good game especially when you start out when no one leaves but it can get very boring. The Career mode was terrible as well i thought nothing really to do in it.
Its actually not that bad. But then again iv only played the demo on my 360. Id say its worth getting for a night in at least with your mates.
i bought the game as soon as it came out....i love it,i play it online from time to time and people are real good online but as someone said in a post before me people quit online but there are working up a patch so nobody can do that again,career mode is decent could have used a bit more,the graphics are pretty solid as well as the gameplay,i would rent it before you buy it cuz some people like it and othes hate it......if u have friends come over and you all play together its real fun i think thats when i play the game the most.....next years game will be alot better
The game is not that bad. It's actually pretty cool to play the first couple of times. However, after long hours of play... the game can become repetitive and boring. Once you master all the moves for a certain fighter, it becomes boring to use that fighter, over and over. The career mode was a little slow and boring... and yet, no matter how many points I built on my fighter... I still got KO'd on bull**** "flash-punches." It's cool to play with a bunch of friends (Tournements.)
Very good game the graphics are wonderful my biggest problem is the submission game though. You can KO guys in 10 secounds but you cant pull submissions off in the 1st round ? You basically gotta have this guys gas tank on empty then maybe MAYBE you get a submission.
The submission aspect literally only maters in the multi player version, subs work great against real people, horribly against the computer.
