How good of a win prime Valuev is on a fighter's resume?

I consider Chagaev and Haye's victories over him as solid wins against a top 10 contender and titlest.

I think Valuev would have been a tough out for most fighters. His technique wasn't too bad and while he's generally slow as molasses, the size advantage more than makes up for it.

Do you think a win over Prime Valuev is about as good as a win over Primo Carnera. Both huge men who were world class, but very weak champions in their era.

I think chagaev beating him was a very good win. Valuev dwarfed him in the ring. And his record was around 46-0 or something. And he was the largest heavyweight champion ever.

Carnera was THE champion, unlike Valuev.

I don't think either was ever truly the best HW in the world. Valuev was probably in the lower half of the world's best 10 HWs at his peak. My guess is Carnera may just about been one of the best 5 in the world, at his.

So, my answer to your question is, probably almost, but not quite, imo.
