How good (or not so good) was Ricky Hatton?

    I think Hatton would have been much better had he kept his hands up as he came in. He did pressure well but with a bit more head movement and high hands he could have achieved more. He probably would still have lost to Mayweather and Pacquiao but with a slightly better defence he would have been far more competitive. I mean he got knocked down by the right hook and knocked cold with the left hook against Pacquiao because his hands were at his upper chest and not at his chin. Come on man that's basic.

    But yeah there seems to be a lot of consensus, barring the one or two people who will undoubtedly hold double standards and are clearly unable to evaluate intelligently, people see him as a very good world class, but not elite or great fighter who beat some good names. Nothing to be ashamed of.
