How good was Chris Pyatt?

    He beat old Kalambay in UK but it was close imo. Strong guy with good punch power.

    Your opinion about him?

    Wow. Haven't thought of that name in ages. Last I remember was Collins beating him badly. Seems every time he stepped up in class he was knocked back down. That was Sumbu's last fight at 37 when Chris beat him.

    Good fighter at euro level.fought john David Jackson and got took to school. I rember watching it and pyatt was charging round the ring like a maniac getting no where .I did find it quite funny at the time.was good until he stepped up in class and weight had a go against colins at got KOed no disgrace in that and beat kalambay but a few years earlier sumbu would have destroyed him.was allways in great shape and determined that was often enough.

    Decent puncher...he beat a dutchman called Jan van Elteren for the european title.

    I think Chris got quite used to Bullying opponents down at Lt-Middle So perhaps did not look to 'Pick His Spots' and hone his actual Boxing Ability, Up at Middle he lacked that bit of finesse that would of come in useful against more resilient opponents,
