How good was Donaire in his prime

Brilliant... Lightning quick, good boxing skill and lights out power..Great athlete ,easily one of the most devastating left hooks I've ever seen.. Especially at lower weights .. I always thought his only flaw was he neglected his boxing when he realised all he had to do was touch them with the left..

Absolutely demolished his way through the weights... Probably went a little too high and as a result picked up more losses than he should have had... But won't critisize someone for challenging themself... Hope he rolls the clock back and beats inoue... But I can't see it

 

As good as inoue looks at the moment... There is alot we don't know about him because he's just smashing everyone to pieces..... Donaire was HUGE at the lower weights and probably just as fast as inoue if not faster... Donaire has demonstrated a good chin throughout his career.. I only recall seeing him down against Walters but I could be wrong. And he was definitely hurt in the last round against rigo who fought brilliantly that night.

Inoue... Has he been in with someone who had the power to really bother him yet? I'm not sure

I don't think donaire is an easy nights work for any of the true greats upto bantam/superbantam

Gun to my head I'd take prime donaire over inoue.... But I could be very wrong and inoue has the potential to be something truly special

Ps... Genuinely expecting a few reply to this post telling me that I dunno what the **** I'm talking about haha gimme a break I've been on the sesh

 

He definitely fell in love with his power before moving up to 122.

 

Oh I'd also like to add he's been a great ambassador for the sport, very respectful of opponents and I believe he was one of the first to agree to random testing 24/7 365.. Incase it wasn't obvious... I ****in love nonito...right double hard *******!

 

Nonito was a monster at the lower weights!

Guilty... Said at some point he'd land the left and rigo wouldn't get up..... But the little goblin did lol

 

Good enough to clearly outsize and outmuscle everyone untill the axman chopped him down

I like Donaire but like Broner looked fantastic till he started fighting people his own size they were both weight bullies
