Just to give you the merest fraction of an idea, years past his prime, I personally witnessed him derail the Shinkansen bullet train with his ****. Now, imagine what he did with his uppercut.
He was great one of the best performances ever...... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_NkecvCRa0[/ame]
Not everyone gets you though, Boxed. I'm just making sure he's not lost in the presence of your staggering intellect.
Dont know about his career or about his division at the time. Before i'd actually watched him i didnt expect much, just assumed it was an obscure name boxing hipsters(there are many) thought it cool to like. But he is really something else. He has a unique, unorthodox style yet orthodox punching technique. He's a boxer who pumps out the jab constantly whether going forward and backwards, but also a relentless pressure fighter. I think he's a nightmare for any technical stylist/counterpuncher/fighters you would consider "skilled". On the same note, the way he pumps that jab out from every position, i also think he'd be a nightmare for any puncher trying to steamroll him. He looks to be a really tough puzzle to crack. And from where i was sitting, he handed Jofre(a classic forum darling who is lauded a master) his ass, twice, and i thought it was pretty clear to see
He was a great fighter. He's immortalized for being the only man to defeat another great fighter, Eder Jofre TWICE. And we know that Jofre would come back and annex the featherweight title and retire without losing that title. Harada was for me just brilliant. Easily the greatest fighter to ever come from the East..and one of the greatest in the world too for that matter.
1)boxed ears-never change and nobody puts you in a corner 2)red cobra is right, harada has one of my favourite all time jabs. gets lost in his "swarmer" image
