how good was fighting harada?

    Which would be what? Ring generalship. I always felt that Harada was great at pleasing the judges, knowing when to rest and then fight in bursts with eye catching flurries.

    My dad said Harada was one of the strongest most physical fighters he fought. It was hard to get leverage against him. He even, which surprised me said he thought Harada could of give Olivares problems stylistically speaking in that he didn't give you room to get get good shots off on him. Mr Jofre might agree.

    I know that Harada was at the Olivares-Brother Ushiwakamaru fight. Love to know what he thought of that.

    Harada was great, one of my favorites, etc.....
    But Jofre always said Harada was a great head butter, and that was one of the major points of why he lost the first fight (in his opinion he won).....he complains about that everytime he talks about the fight.....until today !

    Occasionally almost all the greats must lose..and it was Rose's night in '68..as for Famechon, I think Harada deserved their first fight..and it could be said that Harada was past it for the rematch which johnny won by stoppage in the 14th, but Harada even had Fammo down in that one.

    I would agree with that, I think Rose would of give Harada problems at any time.
    Also against Fammo the fights were up at feather.

    What do you think of at feather late 69 pre Olivares Rose against Famechon. The fight that got away, surely that would of been the biggest fight in Australian boxing of all time.

    Fammo, i think is all wrong for Lionel and yeah definately would have been the biggest fight in Australian history.

    Harada is smack i the middle of my favourite era of boxing, some serious talent floating about in the BWs and FWs, Harada was one of (if not) the best of them
