I think people forget how good Floyd was from 130 to 140.

147 wasn't his best weight. It wasn't even his SECOND best weight.

The best of his era by some distance. Talk of who is the best ever is just opening a can of worms and nonsense.

People going on about drugs are sports noobs who think santa delivers parcels to every house in the world on the 25th of December every year. If you don't like drug taking in sport, then you'd better turn off the TV and say bye bye to pro sport for the rest of your days.

It still doesn't negate the fact that Fraud Mayweather ducked Antonio Margarito. The video of Fraud stuttering and peeing his pants when Margarito approached and asked for a fight will be out there for future generations to see. When have you EVER seen a pro boxer remain sitting down when another pro boxer approaches? THAT was the most telling sign that Fraud is and will always be a BETA male. Any other boxer would have at least had the courage to stand up, shake his hand, look him eye to eye and at least let him know that a future bout might be possible. Fraud remained sitting down while the pool of pee grew larger.

Probably this. He's a loathsome bellend of a person, but a really astonishing boxer, one who could do almost anything. He should be spoken of in the same terms as Duran and Ray Leonard, I think. His fights against the best of his era rarely looked competitive, cherrypicking claims aside (though they are valid - it's the saddest fact of 2000-10 boxing that we never got to see the Pacquiao fight when both were prime). I genuinely don't like him, but I honestly think boxing genius has rarely made itself so obvious.

He lost twice to Sonny Liston in the first round and was still brave enough to fight Ali twice, and he did beat Oscar Bonavena not long before he retired

He didn't duck margo. Arum refused to make a fight with Oscar that's why the fight didn't happen. He agreed to fight Hatton cotto and margo arum didn't want to try to negotiate for the fight with Oscar so he bailed. And for the last time who's margo? He's not even hof level he does nothing for pbfs resume even with a win over him because haters like you would say margo was just another slow wide open plodder pbf loves to fight give him no credit for the win and say he needs to fight this guy to dare to be great. Pbf haters like you were never satisfied no matter who he fought. On top of that margo is a disgraced glove loading cheat who never had a win of note after getting suspended on top of that pbf beat 3 guys who schooled margo.

Lastly wishful thinkers like you are reduced to pure fantasy when discussing pbf that's how bad it is for you. Had they fought all that sitting down and being scared as you claim wouldn't mean **** as pbf set a compubox record for connect % and power punches landed on that wide open mummy, it would've been funny watch the clinic unfold. Wishful thinking and hate doesn't work on pbf. He made a career out proving bitter hating ****bois like you wrong for an entire era and he still lives rent free in your head to this day and I love it!

Pretty much every top athlete in every sport uses drugs. You're naïve if you think otherwise.

Every current fighter from 130-147 would lose to Floyd.

IMO, no version of Pacquiao beats any version of Floyd. Pacquiao is shorter and has a shorter reach, has no jab, has been shown to struggle against counter-punchers, and can't cut off the ring or fight on the inside.

I also don't think Margarito beats Floyd. Margarito sucked. There's a reason he had 5 losses before fighting Cotto, and the only reason he had any success in his career is because he used loaded gloves. Margarito is slow, has no defense, and can't cut off the ring.

And don't tell me, "Floyd waited for Pacquiao to get old and slow!".

The Pacquiao that Floyd fought was still faster than 99% of fighters.
