I think he was asking in terms of how he would do against the current crop of Jr. Welters where Hector excelled.

I did not like him or his style but he was an excellent fighter, quick hands, great feet and some good power and was tough

At 130lbs and his early days at 135lbs Hector Camacho had blazing speed. Especially hand speed. It was uncommon and threw those blinding flurries. He had some snap on his punches as well. Not featherfisted at all like alot of fighters with really quick hands.

He was intelligent and knew how to shut down his opponent`s offense while frustrating them at the same time. He was a winner pure and simple.

At his peak he was pretty special. It didn`t last long probably because of drugs/lifestyle in general. Hard to say exactly what but he just lost that edge that made him exciting.

It was the `80s:-(( He wasn`t the only one that left us wondering what could have been.

The best lightweight in the world by far, and top 3 P4P.

The talent pool in 2014 isn't near what it was in the mid 80's, and Camacho was one of the best fighters in the world THEN.
