    GREAT fighter.

Other than Meldrick and RJJ, might have had the best hand speed of the past 30 years in boxing. Could box and slug in the pocket if needed, but became much more cautious after getting rocked by Rosario.

Personality wise, think of a louder, flashier, Puerto Rican version of Adrien Broner. That's Camacho.

in his prime arguably one of the most complete fighters ever. However bad habits and mental issues (in the ring) slowed him down rapidly. His fight against Chavez is nowhere near the best version of Macho Man.

And yeah, personality wise he was comparable with Broner, actually Hamed would be even a better comparison. He had swag and a chip on his shoulder. In his prime. But obviously way more skilled than both..

edit. his prime was pre rosario. after that he was a different fighter. It changed him mentally. He also had some great wins before winning his first title. He was already a major star then.

not sure how if he would beat pac or Floyd. I think his style suited a Floyd fight more. that would be a awesome fight. Don't see him beating the 2005-2010 version of Pac

Pre Rosario Camacho was most thought of Gomez's successor, was even alot of talk about that fight. But I agree, pre-Rosario, the man with the curl on his forehead had some of the fastest hands ever. His destruction of Bazooka Limon was a thing of beauty. Tho post Rosario he wasn't supposed to be atg status, he was just loved by the people. He was as obnoxious as Broner, but he could make you laugh, much, much classier guy. Had a great chin too.

The Camacho in the mid 80's would have been too much for floyd. Superior jab, handspeed, workrate, boxing ability, ring IQ and southpaw stance. He would have made Floyd look bad.

he had speed but it was less impactful that khans, you guys khan the shoe shiner, Camacho was the ceo of that club.

he was good enough in that time span but not ever truly elite as in all around great fighter, nope sorry
