How good was it to see Cotto back doing what he does best?

there's no supposed to in boxing just cold reality

 

I was very pleased with the performance and very pleased to see Cotto back in general.

He looked refreshed, sensible + mature in giving Jennings respect and figuring him out, and then brutal and unforgiving as ever as he went from boxer to stalker.

 

Cotto said the reason he didn't go to the body was because the taller Margarito kept away from his range so he wasn't able to go to the body how he wanted to.

 

Yep he lookd good, lets hope for more of the same.

 

i know many dont think so, but i think if cotto went to the body vs margo, he would've pulled it off.....everything else cotto did in that fight was almost perfect (except for going back to the ropes after every combo he landed)...body punches would've been the icing on the cake

 

Margo wouldn't let him. Cotto doesn't have the arm length to wrap up Margo, and the way Margo kept his elbows inside and low left Cotto no option but to go to the head when Margo came inside.

I think Margo may be slowing down right before our eyes, and Miguel may be able to take advantage of it now.

 

cotto can take heart from mosleys performance and from watching that fight i'd be telling miguel to try and work inside and to the body more i was actually shocked at how bad margarito is in close/in clinches

 

cotto destroys the divison, hes the type the will do better after a loss.next man to beat will have to be a mad ass mofo, and it aint berto lol.

 

I really enjoyed his comeback!!

Cotto is good for boxing and everyone should agree on that... though I feel he needs to face a known name in June, either Clottey or Cintron... It would be nice to see him face the Hatton or Manny winner as well... he deserves it...
