    The first Conteh-Finnegan fight is a great scrap. Very much a must-see fight for UK fans I think.

    He was decent. Good, solid technician, nothing flashy or fancy, but could hit well with both hands and was exceptionally gutty and resilient.

    RE JOHN CONTEH
    i remember JC knocking out preacher lewis with a right cross in about 73' ,it was awesome.a few years later john was fighting this big geezer one handed (left) and brought this right hand over,BAM, knocked him out cold.i think his opponent was a columbian and he was tattoed.
    we all heard the rumours about john's right hand and what had happened to it,but on his night, he was as good as there's been in the uk.
