im reading some old boxing magazines and he seems to have been quite a exiting fighter in the early ninetees. has anyone seen him fight?
i thought he was great...i really did.. i have concided..almost..recently on another thread here that he wasn't as good pound for pound as mcguigan..{the thread was best irish fighter}.. but i have great memories of watching him on tv..he had an epic battle, although eventually losing, to fidel bassa.. baby jake matlala was also a great name on his win list.. i'm an old fan of his...so i'll say he was very good..
