I know he is atop manager now in France but how good was he when he was boxing and what type of style did he employ?
Been ages since i watched any of his fights, but from what i remember he was like a less inspired poor man's Winky Wright. High hands, good glove defence, very good accurate one-two.Also flat footed and highly vulnerable to being outworked. he gave a decent account of himself against a post-hagler\don lee Tony Sibson who just seemed to be going through the motions.Other than that fight, his best win was probably Marijan Benes, but i haven't watched that fight. Losing to Carlos Santos probbaly summed up the amount of inspiration he usually brought to his fights.
