    He beat Duddy but the judges didn't agree.

    Definitely the epitome of a gatekeeper. Good fighter that if he fought today with the wasteland that is 154 now, he'd be a beltholder for awhile. Just at the wrong place at the wrong time, with DLH, Trinidad, Vargas, Quartey, and Wright making that division as deep as it's ever been...and they coincided with Yori Boy's prime.

    If I remember correctly he said once that the name comes from him being one of the lighter-skinned among his people..making "Yori Boy" the equivalent of "white boy" or light-skinned boy!
