Pretty average title holder. He was well schooled, disciplined - but pretty basic overall and also being very patient punch picker, He didn't have good enough defence to go with it. I was only really impressed by him against Woodhall, whom He dominated in Britain. After that He struggled every time He fought any top 10 fighter - and it's not like it was particularly strong Super Middleweight era. Eric Lucas, Danny Green, Sakio Bika - those are solid fighters, but no world beaters. Kessler ultimately showed him his level. There's at least couple guys today that would do the same thing.
