How good was Marquez vs Casamayor?

Good fight, world class boxing at its highest level.

 

There it is :good. The counter punching, strategy and movement by casamayor was on point. He didnt even get tired at all.

 

Great fight from two seriously skilled fighters, there are a lot of entertaining moments during the fight along with tactical moments. The ending was as fans wanted it to be as well so overrall a great night and event. Sad to see the Guzman fight off but this card made up for it.

 

JMM is who he is, just an offensive machine. His punches had more zip to them at lightweight.

 

great fight for the first 4 rounds..after that it was just a matter of time..
Casa is done but he was amped early on and mustered to call on his old self

 

Yeah, I thought Marquez was gonna show his age in this fight more than Casa. Damn, I was way off. atsch

 

Very good bout between two technicians, and very exciting ending.

 

I should have bought the PPV.

 

It was worth the PPV. Both guys were at the absolute top of their game, and going into the 11th it could have been dead even. Marquez seemed to hit harder at this weight honestly. Considering Casa had never been KOed he was stunned several times by Marquez's right hands.

I would like to point out that after Casa was knocked down the first time, he did an incredible job of fighting back. Marquez KOed him, but Casa was throwing punches with a vegeance and so was Marquez, and I thought it was a blistering exchange. Marquez landed that looping over hand right that just caught Casa out of position and sent him crashing.

Great technical fight, worth the PPV price tag.

 

I ALWAYS knew this will be a great fight. I remember there were alot of people here who concluded that this fight will a boring, snooze-fest fight. But I just knew it will be great.

And it was. 2 top, HIGHLY SKILLED fighters who put everything on the line in this fight. Those kinds of fights NEVER dissapoint and this is another one of those. The skill-level was through the roof with a bit of tense moments and drama in the fight... I'm just so happy right now!!

very good main event and just a great card all around except for the first fight. first fight was boring as hell.

it wouldve been worth it if i had paid for it.

 

I enjoyed it, at least.
