Spadafora`s trainer was called one of the best in the business by Max Kellerman back when Spadafora was the lightweight champ, was Max correct when he said this and how good was Spadafora at that time?

He is maybe the only guy doing instructional videos on YouTube that I pay attention to, because he knows what he is talking about. That video there is quality stuff.

Spaddy was nothing more than decent. His crowning achievement and best performance was his title winning shut out win over Pito Cardona. Other than that, he was one of the most protected champions of all time. He and his camp had zero interest in mixing it up with guys like Floyd, Corrales, Castillo, Casamayor, ect.

He'd have been thrashed by any of those above guys.

And for what it's worth, he's also a scumbag of a human being.

I remember that he sparred with Mayweather and made a big deal about it ...and Mayweather vowed to break his nose

Tom Yankello was credited on this vid for doing great work with Paul by Max Kellerman and he is the guy working the pads on the vid with Paul, this is Yankello`s vid and channel.

Pia Zardona was a pretty good fighter and song and dance person but that's a real good win. Spadafora come from the Italo-Latin words for spade and flower and if you call a spade a flower, the dude is a rose by any other name.

I think they were lining him up for big fights at 140 before he derailed his own career.

A little known fact...before undergoing gender reassignment surgery, the fighter Pia Zardona was known as Pia Zadora and was married to a Las Vegas casino tycoon.

I once saw Pia Zadora perform topless. When I heard she not only made the change, but won a world title. Well, I was overwhelmed.
