My necks in agony as i found myself nodding in agreement with everything he says. Nice to know when he hangs up his gloves he should have a job for life in the sport
He's excellent, heard him commentate before on YouTube vids of HBO fights, hope he does more stuff with sky.
Paulie is an excellent pundit. Gives an expert insight into whats going on, what the boxers are doing right and what they are doing wrong. I really enjy his commentary.
Love Paulie. He was very quiet this entire visit though, Porter fight or personal problems must be affecting him. Thought he was actually a bit boring and long winded at times. Very unlike him to be tedious. Thank God Sir Jim was there to get Paulie involved.
he was very good although he is more lively on the showtime cards... that's for sure still enjoyed it but prefer him under the show cards..
It was quite an uncomfortable evening for both Paulie and Watt and to a lesser extent Halling IMO. I know the majority want Watt gone but put yourself in his shoes - his bosses obviously know he's not what he was but don't want to sack a great servant so they bring in a young hotshot to help him - must have been hard for him to swallow after so many years being top dog. Paulie was excellent but unlike at Showtime was clearly restricted in when he was able to voice his opinion- if you notice he mainly only spoke when invited to by Halling which was obviously what he was instructed to do by the producers. I thought Jim performed much better then normal as he had to step up his game to try keep up with Paulie so he served his purpose. would like to see Paulie do more stuff on sky but I suspect there won't be to many opportunities due to the lack of international fights plus his own job with showtime. if Watt is staying longterm i hope sky consider consider putting McCory back on the mic as the 3rd person- thought he was excellent back in the day with Darke
Malinaggi was honest & good, Watt was **** & yes overtalking paulie alot! they will be bad at working with each other
