Not seen one of these threads for a while. Obviously he's the guy who was always considered better than Royce but never achieved as much as Royce. Unbeaten but untested at the highest level. Some say he was the GOAT, some say he was a never was. What do you say?
Based on the eye test of available film and the opinions of just about everybody who matters in the bjj and mma communities.
Yeah Rickson was the best and would have beaten the guys Royce beat in those early UFC fights quicker and easier but the family wanted to prove how good there BJJ was by having the smaller Royce beating up far bigger opponents.
Problem with eye test on available film is that we never see him against a formidable opponent. The problem with those in the BJJ community is that Royce went on to beat world class names and Dickson didn't.
