Just like GGG is more popular than Ward.

Stupid reply.. The troll cant even figure out when someone is complimenting his fellow brit.... Trolling has made your mind into mush, that you feel you have to bring GGG and Ward up when they have absolutely zero to do about the thread.. Joe on the other hand is Brittish and is always talked about by kids like you, but in all honesty he will never be as Popular or beloved as NAZ or Hatton... Sowwey you Nationalistic scumbag:hi:

A very good fighter who was world class. There weren't many around in his time who could beat him; this is the definition of world class. Was he elite? Probably not. Could he beat an elite fighter who typically finds Hatton's style troubling? Yes.

For me, this sums up Hatton.

Oh so you brought up Calzaghe because he was British too. I brought up GGG and Ward because they was boxers too.

Now go and find some black fighter who beats up their wife who's nuts you can swing off, because neither Hatton or Calzaghe do that. :hi:

People talk up his victory over Tszyu but the fact is that Kostya was 35 and was fighter less than once a year against guys like shot Sharmba Mitchell whom he'd already stopped. When Hatton fought Kostya, the referee was Dave Parriss who is easily the worse ref I've ever seen-see the only 2 other fights I've ever seen him ref Rogan ***ton and Barrera Khan. Parriss is the most incompetent and biased ref I've ever seen and makes Joe Cortez look like Arthur Mercante Sr. Hatton was allowed to do whatever he wanted. Other than that "victory" Hatton resume is nothing special including him REELING at the end of his "win" against light punching Luis Collazo. Hatton was hyped to the maxed and definitely overrated.

World class..... In his prime he lost only to Floyd, and Pac. Two of the best fighters of his era.

At his peak at 140, he was underrated, BUT he wouldn't ever beat the likes of prime Pacquiao, Mayweather, Cotto, etc. He's up there, just not UP there.
