Yep, that and maybe the fact that Tyson fought at top contention longer hereas Marciano only started to fight for the championship at his 42nd fight.

How did Rocky struggle against Moore and Charles? He beat them very soundly, especially Moore. He was never in any danger of losing the fights except for the freak nose injury against Charles.

Mid-level top-10 HW. Maybe top 40-ish all time. His legacy is sound, he beat everyone he faced, knocked out most of them, and accomplished pretty much everything he could have. But he's overrated by many of his fans today, especially H2H. Many of his fans think he would "wear down and stop late" anybody he could get matched against, including the likes of Ali, Foreman, Liston, Lewis and so on. Just because he did it against shop-worn Charles, old Louis, old Walcott and several mediocre contenders, some people think he'd do the same to some of the greatest heavyweights of all time, in their primes. I don't buy it. Given the amount that he consistently struggled with his opposition I think he would lose to the the majority of the rest of the top 10 HW's of all time in prime for prime match-ups. I even think prime versions of Walcott and Charles would beat him.
