Agreed. I had Ike winning the fight 114-113. I have no problem with it going to De La Hoya. The thing that frustrated me was whenever a fight was close he would get the nod. Eg Whitaker, Quartey, Strum etc etc

I thought oscar pulled it ouit and there was a point in the 12th I thought the ref would stop it.

Good fight. Oscar got a whole lot of props for finishing as strong as he did. Little did we know then he would **** all those props away against Tito.

Do you know how hyper I got when DLH would thrww his flurries at Quartey and they hit nothing but Quartey's elbows and gloves and then Quartey followed it up with his evil little smirk? I ****ing loved that fight, I was rooting for Quartey so hard it wasn't even funny.

This is one fight where there definitely should have been a rematch.

I think De La Hoya showed us how defeated he was when he was asked about a rematch. "No, I dont think so. Theres bigger fights out there for me"

i wouldnt say ten boring ones..they were very good techincal rounds and even though they werent as exciting as the other 2, they showed how much respect they had for eachother and they were good to watch. just because people aren't getting destroyed in the face doesnt mean that its a bad fight. Marquez-Vasquez, two P4Pers exchanging like that is a rarity and thats why it is well appreciated by many. But two great fighters like De La Hoya and Quartey having to mental battle eachother, although not as exciting, to me, is fun to watch.

Too much enthusiasm over the 12th round, the first minute was hell'a dramatic, but then Oscar just stopped and stared at Ike for the rest of the round.

It like hes saying, this round is already a 10-8 round for me i dont need to do anything else.

Annoyed Buffer compared to hearns/leonard, still a good fight though.

I thought is was a great fight...Wrong guy won..But still a great fight.

20 times better then Oscar/Tito, which also had the wrong guy winning, but that one wasnt even close. I had Oscar winning 9-3.

A good fight, not great. More tactical than I would have expected, with a few moments of excitability. If it hadn't have been two Grade A boxers involved this fight would not have registered much on the fan radar, and would soon have been forgotten.
