    West is probably most famous for his second title fight with Ryan, for the MW title, which all accounts describe as one of the most brutal wars in boxing history.

    In another of West's fights with Bonner, Bonner was reportedly DQ'd after his people smeared some kind of mustard on his gloves, which blinded West.
