I think he was a fairly decent fighter, but not very impressive to watch.. He had a survivalistic style that was designed to prevent him from getting hurt, more so than actually winning.. His victory over James Douglas wasn't viewed as anything spectacular at the time, but the stock value of that win, went up after Buster beat Tyson years later... He was denied two mandatory lineal shots.. Once against Spinks in 1987 and again with George Foreman in 1995.. Had he been granted both of those opportunities and won both of them, his legacy would be seen in a dfferent light today..
