He was a classy & talented boxer/puncher who never really fufilled his potential

Hell of a nice guy outside the ring, did a lot of charity work with the mentally ill. Such a shame he died so young.

I feel Floyd was the better boxer and would be able box while making Forrest miss. But I've always felt Floyds biggest weakness was the feint low, overhand right which he gets caught with and caught big against some of his best opponents

    Castillo 1 7th round
    Oscar 11th round
    Mosley round 2

This was also Forrest best punch. He really tried to take cats heads off with this punch. Floyd will likely be caught at some point, how he would handle it would determine the course of the fight.

he became surprisingly overrated which is weird because he never had a huge following in his prime.

I think he held a stylistic advantage over Mosley but that's it. He's seen as some h2h monster but does his career reflect that? Lost to Mosley, very close fight with Ike and beat Baldomir.

Looked out of hid depth against Mayorga in the first.

In the rematch he's gotta be the only person in history who can land a 5 punch combo but seemingly come off worst in the exchanges.

He was good, very good but not worthy of the hype I see on here sometimes.
