I think he was an excellent fighter. People say he was rushed into the Tito fight too soon but I'm not sure I agree. It wasn't as if he was padding his record against club-fighters and took a hugh step-up in competition. He had already beaten Winky and Ike Quartey - I think he's one of those fighters who peaked early. There's no doubt the Tito fight took something out of him that he never got back but I think he was as good as he was ever going to get in that fight. With his style, injuries and weight problems I don't think he was ever destined to have a long career. For a while though, he looked like a special fighter.
Very good fighter but he was thrown to the dogs while he was still young in his career and was done at the age of only 29! I wish the best to him and he would've been so much more had he not been rushed to the top.
