What do you guys know about the trainer Whitey Bimstein? He seems relatively unknown, but trained a lot of good fighters.
Bimstein trained fighters in partnership with Freddy Brown they were "free-lancers " working for whomever had the $ Sometimes they operated solo. e.g. Bimstein trained Sixto Escobar. Both Bimstein and Brown were jewish and ex-fighters,Bimstein a bantamweight.Bimstein trained Graziano for Irving Cohen but he admitted he couldnt teach Rocky anything because he relied soley on his power.
