Does he become the ultimate "would have been" in boxing history if Wlad beats AJ, and especially if Wlad goes on to unify all the belts?

Not enough information about Fury or Joshua at this point.

I think it could simply be a matter of styles more than anything.

He still remains the ultimate bum who threw away the chance of building a respectful legacy.

He already is. Fury is a great fighter, really an ATG. For all the "experts" on boxingforum he practically had no hype coming into the fight while David Haye had millions of times more hype.

It just proves a fact, many people can't judge a good upcoming talent. If the media is behind you, everyone will flock in droves.

So, it's just a media thing. Real boxing purists know Fury is the real deal. He's an extremely slick fighter who has ridiculous size and reach. He is tailor made for the HW division. H2H he would be a real threat to any fighter throughout boxing history.

Fury right now is Buster Douglas only instead of a brutal KO Fury was content to throw as few punches as possible and get a boring UD. That is Fury's legacy right now and at least Douglas had the guts to defend the belt. Fury blamed depression and a host of other asinine reasons why he can't fight.

If Wlad managed to beat Joshua and unified the belts. The fury fight would be seen as a night off or stylistic issue for Wlad.
Wlad has been trying to pursue a rematch, fury needs to get in shape and rematch Wlad to solidify that win.

    NOT ENOUGH INFORMATION

Fury beat an unbeaten Chisora in 2011
Beat every man put in front of him
    Outclassed HugaWladAmir Khan Klitscko

No bother bomb squad no bother!

Wlad is going to win (as you have favoured)

Joshua can go back to the drawing board and finally end Bum Squad Wilder if he wants. Maybe have a retired Wladamir train him in the art of clinching and jabbing which is how he is going to lose come the end of this month.

Fury is pretty much unbeatable if he wants to be...but his biggest flaw might have just retired him and it didn't need an opponent to expose it...

If we could have an inshape 245 pound Fury for another 3-4 years we'd see one of the greatest almost mythical heavyweights of all time...As Manny Steward said.."he will be the next dominant heavyweight after Wladamir is finished IF HE CAN REMAIN STABLE"

word for damn word! RIP Manny.

Also Fury has now backtracked on thinking Wlad will win by KO, now believes a 41 year old Klitscko cannot beat Anthony Joshua and AJ will pull it off!

Me myself have been thoroughly confident that Wlad should be able to do it but recently and after watching Wlad training it's not going to be easy for Wlad.

Well Joshua is getting a more revved up klitchko with less distractions outside the ring this time around. Its harder to defeat a fighter like Wlad twice in a row and hand him two losses and thats ANY elite fighter. Of course ppl will use the age card if he should lose ,however Joshua is fighting a better and more prepared Klitchko than fury had to deal with.

A sizable power puncher will always pose more threat to Wlad than a outside boxer of any size,Fury got a pass and really no one did anything impressive in 2015,unless you are a fury fan then ignore reality and THINK Wlad was on his game .

How good will Fury look IF Wlad defeats Joshua? He wont he will count his lucky stars and thank them that wlad didnt fight like that when he fought him ,because Wlad NEEDS to throw punches this time,a productive Wlad defeats Fury always.

Those who already recognise the magnitude of Fury's achievement will only feel more consolidated in their belief. Those who pass the win off as a fluke will come up with some nonsense about how Fury got 'lucky' against an unprepared Wlad (see post above).

To those saying Fury has chucked his opportunity away - he has bipolar ffs it's not something he chose to be diagnosed with. It's just a great shame more than anything.

Does being bi polar turn someone into a fat horizontal bum?

Bi polar medication can in fact cause additional weight gain or a bloated appearance but if the person eats healthily then it will not cause those side effects..

If Fury never fights again then he will just remain an enigma and people won't have enough evidence to make up their mind about his abilities.

even if josh knock wlad out inside 1 round it would not be greater then furys win who beat him nearly 2 years before and when wlad was unbeaten for 12 years

    I Like Fury, he's entertaining. But he's a huge "could've, should've, would've" or "what if".
