Fury already is good he's a proven HW and is still the man at that weight. Wlad beating Joshua has no bearing on Fury's standing. BTW I would have picked Fury to beat Joshua To.

On the flipside, what if AJ destroys Wlad with not much greater effort than any if his previous victims?

The Wlad win was a horrible fight to watch but a fantastic achievement for Tyson.

However, that win + taking Del Boys 0 (Who has lost to every good fighter he has faced) is not an ATG resume

I disagree. Fury stopped being 'the man' at HW when he decided to duck Wlad twice for the rematch and then decided to go into retirement - temporary or not will have to be seen. The winner of Wlad vs. Joshua will be the new #1 in the HW division hands down.

Fair enough but Fury was on top when his personal life went to hell and neither man has a win over Fury and to some and him that means a great deal.

Until fury is defeated then no one can call themselves champion. No version of vlad could beat fury he is all wrong for vlad took the titles in sparing session .Fury will be back only young for a HW and no miles on the clock and massive money to be made in huge fights. Can Joshua beat fury maybe ? The demand for the fight will be huge the hype and money massive. To much to be ignored.

Why what happened in his personal life? Oh you mean stuffing himself with fast food and consuming dozens of Jagermeister bombs and cocaine? Sorry I don't give him a pass for that. That's his own fault and nothing that just 'came over him'.

He simply didn't want to reign the HW division because he knew his mental strength and discipline aren't made for being a champion. That's why he isn't champion anymore. Its easier to get to the top for 1 day than staying there for 10 years.

You know this is like saying Buster Douglas was still the champion after ballooning up to 350 lbs and having all sorts of personal problems after winning against Tyson. Why did Buster not get a pass but Fury is getting a pass?

He ducked a contractually obliged rematch, he's inactive, he's said multiple times how much he hates the sport, he avoided drug tests and he was caught for forbidden substances albeit they were 'only' recreational drugs. Again, Fury should get a pass? He made all the wrong choices and should be judged by his actions, not by his excuses.
