How Good Would Prime Roy Jones Jr. Do in the Ring Against Prime Mike Tyson?

KOed in about 3 maybe lasts till round 5, not too sure what the **** was going down at the start of this thread.

You serious ?Jones would have got murdered, 1st round almost certainly. There was a reason he picked John Ruiz

what a fair tale land thread topic idea. Tyson would have walked right through him or chased him out of the ring. roy couldnt hurt tyson if he threw 2000 punches over 12 rounds. it would be an even worse version of haye when he fought wlad.
i like jones and watched him since he was an amateur, but people here either **** all over jones and or make him the opposite.... no in between

 

Roy has nothing to keep Mike off of him. Tyson to much speed too much power,

Tyson unifed the HW division as soon as he could, Roy was never undisputed champ in any division, did not fight the best in any division either.

Glass Jaw Roy wouldn't hear the bell for the second round. Riding your bike against John Ruiz is a far cry from doing the same against a Prime Tyson.

 

:rofl Tyson and pretty much any fighter would go down after 2000 power punches from someone with lesser power let alone Jones. Forgot Douglas was the biggest hitter of all time and how Mikes 'iron' chin somehow lasted 10 rounds with him is something I well never know :roll:

All Roy had was speed and reflexes. He had no conventional Boxing skills at all. Look at what happened when he needed a Plan B in a fight. He got destroyed.

This thread is high comedy the best version of Jones would not last 1 round with the worst version of Tyson.

Tyson is not going to give Jones any respect he would corner him and shatter Roy's Glass Jaw which is one of the worst ever. The guy is literally afraid to take a punch and some of you think he would last 12 rounds with a Prime Tyson? :huh

Jones would not make it 3:00 with ANY version of Mike Tyson. His Chin would literally get incinerated by the first hook or right hand.
