Tyson is just too powerful and too intimidating. He would have caught jones against the ropes at some point during the fight and tee off on him.

Prime Tyson ****s Jones up...too big, too strong, too aggressive...no way Jones keeps Tyson at bay.

I hope this is a P4P match-up, because if this is a straight up HW fight, Roy's head lands in Magic Johnson's lap

This has got to be a ****ing joke.

RJJ, as good as he was, gets destroyed by Iron Mike, inside 5-6 minutes.

Roy wasnt prime at heavyweight. Tyson was obviously at his best at heavyweight. Roy was more takented, but of course Tyson would KO him. Its like saying would Andre Ward beat Roberto Duran? Of course. Roberto fought at 168 but was way above his best weight, like Roy at heavy.

agree that jones gets ko'd quick, maybe he could frustrate and outpoint the tyson who lost to lennox lewis, big maybe. how do people see him doing in the present heayweight era? i would give him a chance against not named klitschko...

I would give a prime RJJ a good chance against the shell of Tyson that fought Lennox

The clueless ****ers who pick Jones should be made to take some kind of test with the Moderators to post on here.

What exactly would Jones do that could keep a guy 30 or 40 pounds heavier than him off him who is pretty damn fast and explosive

P4P - maybe, maybe an RJJ decision, I'd still go for a Tyson KO.

Head to head - Tyson atomises Roy into a pink mist, not a matter of if but when.

Prime Mike was deceptively fleet of foot, incredibly elusive AND could throw deadly body to head combinations at lightweight speed. The only way Roy could avoid being hit was if he ran for dear life all 12 rounds without throwing anything.

What ya mean p4p maybe a Roy decision, do you mean like in 02 or 03 when RJJ went up to heavy and Tyson was old and the fight was a realistic possibility

Eh, I would take that bet. I think Jones could get out of the first round. And I was going off the assumption that this was prime Jones moving up to heavyweight, not literally prime Jones at SMW. That would be a massacre.
