How great could Frank Bruno been if he'd jogged 3 miles and eaten blueberries?

He would have been at least three greatness points higher than he was, and thrown haymakers with tremendous gusto.

Bruno was known for trainng very hard and not slacking off. I think part of his problems with stamina had to do with being tense in the ring against world class opposition. Stamina was more of a mental issue than a physical one.

I like Frank and think he'd easily be a champion today, but it wasn't just running that made Marciano great. Even Frazier himself admitted that Marciano trained much harder than he did. Bruno just wasn't made of the same stuff Marciano was.

The same as Price you think ? Not natural fighters, therefore they worry to much in the ring expanding nervous energy imo

This thread was because someone claimed that Marciano training was very unspectaclor, consisting of tons of sleep, short slow joggs, and him eating blueberries.

Be honest. You started this thread because some of us pointed out that basically every reporter who ever watched Marciano train described fairly ordinary daily training and diet regimes. This was in sharp contrast to the fantastical myths that fanboys have been mindlessly repeating for years now. You and some of the other guys who are enchanted with the folklore surrounding past greats couldn't handle this info, so you chose to act like facetious trolls instead.
