That's not the same at all. Lamon wasn't making excuses he was being real.

Blah, blah, blah. :-( Something wasn't right with Wlad during the first Brewster fight. He was tired after only a round or so................

Of course he was, which is why he was still upright and firing shots - right up to the point that Brewster cracked his egg chin :deal

Wait you actually believed Brewster was going to win? Watch the first fight. Wlad was wipping the **** out of Brewster in the first four rounds. The guy barely got up in fourth. Luckily for Lamon, he caught Wlad in the fifth and **** went down hill. But that was a great fight from Wlad, only that he was caught by a huge hand and was unable to recover.

This was unpset and a huge surprise, not some great boxing skills from Lamon. Dont even mention the second fight, that was embarrasing. What the hell is taking this bum to get into another fight, thats what I want to know.

So, Vlad is gonna ko Riddick Bowe faster than the ATG Calvin Brock? Get your head out of your ass.

Wlad got knocked out 3 times by lesser oppenents, but the reason why Wlad isnt great is because he never beat a great. Wlads best win is over Chris Bryd, whos nothing special.

So if the greatest fighter entered into professional boxing in its worst, and only beat some bums, he really isn't great? Klitschko might've fough and beat 'decent' fighters, but he beat them exceptionally well.

About as good as Frank Bruno then, only he doesn't hit as hard and has a weaker chin.

He did, he also got knocked out a couple times as well in this weak divsion. I think Wlad is the best right now, but he is pretty much laying out guys who dont do well after fighting Wlad, like Bryd getting killed by Povetkin or Brock getting out boxed by Chambers.

As long as I don't have to see another Ray Austin or Jameel McCline fight anytime soon, I will be most happy.

Career accomplishments are so difficult to compare through different eras. And generally fighters who show a lot of heart like Frazier or Holyfield tend to get overrated and fighters who dominate easily in many of their fights like Lennox or Wlad get underrated. Frazier has one great win over Ali past his prime and four losses against against Ali and Foreman, so he is clearly only Nr. 3 in his own era, yet considered an ATG by most people. Wlad owns this era but is not an ATG...Holyfield fought five opponents multiple times and has negative records against Bowe and Lewis, neutral records against Ruiz and Moorer and only a positive record against Tyson over multiple fights. But he has shown great heart and exciting fights, so he is considered an ATG. If Lewis or Wlad ever struggeled with Ruiz or Bobby Chyz, they would be insulted by boxing fans as bums, overhyped etc.
Me thinks that if there was a time machine tournament of all HW's in history, prime Ali, Lennox and Wlad would be the toughest ones to beat.
